Mother’s Day Tea

We held a Mother's Day Tea in our classroom to celebrate how much we love our moms! Our moms came and we welcomed them to our classroom. We did a Reader’s Theater performance called The Mother’s Day Surprise. Some of us read a Mother’s Day poem and other people read the book, Love You Forever. Thanks again to all of our moms who came to our class for our special day!

Spring Sing

The Spring Sing was at Bartlett High School. We sang three songs named: Play me a Cowbell, Hey May and Right Here Right Now!! Thank you Miss Byker for teaching us the songs!!

Earth Day

On Earth day, we celebrated our Earth because we love our planet. We went to an assembly about Earth Day and recycling. We learned that some pants are made out of corn. Miss Frandsen’s sister, Gena came in and read a book called Milo and the Mystery of the Golden Rock. Our class made bird feeders out of pine cones and peanut butter. We also made recycled paper out of newspaper and we put seeds in it.
