Gingerbread Houses
We made gingerbread houses. We used graham crackers and frosting to make the houses. Then we decorated them with all types of candy. They were beautiful to look at and yummy to eat!

Kwanzaa
We learned about Kwanzaa. People put corn on a mat called a Mkeka for how many children are in the family. They use a candle holder called a Kinera. The Kinera has eight candles. There are three greens, three reds and one black. Kwanzaa starts on December 26th and ends on January 1st. Happy Kwanzaa!

Tangrams
We tried to make a square with seven tangram shapes. It was hard at first but we helped each other. Then we used our tangram shapes to make different animals.
